PDO Threads for Face, Neck, and Body

 What is PDO Absorbable Suture?

  •  It’s a synthetic absorbable surgical suture composed of polydioxanone. PDO sutures are used to perform cardiothoracic surgery (such as open-heart surgery). It’s one of the safest materials to be implanted in the body.

  •  Your skin fully absorbs it within 4 to 6 months & won’t leave you with any scar tissue.

IT’S AMAZINGLY SIMPLE, ACTUALLY! It works by creating controlled healing.

  •  In medical terms "Selective Inflammatory Response", it is the principle behind a lot of aesthetic procedures (such as Fractional Laser, Chemical Peels & MicroNeedling). Our skin is very good at repairing itself, and by inserting NOVATHREADS we make it ‘heal’ itself by creating new collagen, naturally!

  •  Yes, PDO is fully absorbable, but that doesn’t mean your skin won’t react to it. During the 4 to 6 months needed to fully absorb the PDO suture, your skin is also repairing itself around it. Because it is your own new collagen it will last up to 18 months anywhere that it is placed.

  •  It’s "controlled healing" happening underneath the skin!

  • Unlike other Aesthetic Procedures, PDO threads can be used to treat almost any area.

  • Face: Eyebrow Lift, Forehead Lines or Lift, 11 Lines, Temples, Cheeks, Midface Lift, Jaw Lift or Jaw Line, Nasiolabial Folds, Marionette Lines, Lips, Lip Lines, Lip Lift, Full Face, Neck Lift, Chin, Chest

Body: Chest, Abdomen Lift for Tightening, Scarring, and Skin Tone, Butt Lift,

Saddlebags, Thighs, Knees, Arm Lift for Skin Tightening

Thread Lift in Neck and Face

Although NOVATHREADS can be inserted almost anywhere, one area where they are especially effective is the neck and jawline. The lower third of the face is challenging to treat effectively with botulinum toxin or injectable fillers, which are most effective in the upper and middle third of the face, respectively.

With PDO Threads we can lift the jawline or "jowl" area, Correct sagging in the lower face and neck, and create a non surgical face and neck lift that looks natural, with minimal downtime and pain.

Lip Lines and Enhancement

In the lips PDO threads are specifically designed to enhance definition, add volume, and improve the youthful curves of the lips. The PDO suture threads are implanted along the vermillion border, the PDO threads uncoil resulting in a natural and subtle lift and eversion of the lips. A few benefits of using a PDO suture thread within the vermillion border are less swelling, longer lasting than filler, and a more natural appearance.

PDO suture threads are not for individuals desiring a drastic result; rather, they are for an individual seeking a more conservative definition and volume.

Lip Lines are easily corrected with PDO treads above the lips. This is a quick and easy procedure that corrects lip lines for 12-18 months. The threads show instant results, but continue to improve the area over the next 3-4 months building collagen for natural, long lasting results.

PDO threads are used in combination to Dermal Fillers or alone. Alone they provide natural results that are longer lasting than Filler. They also cause less swelling and bruising after the procedure. This is an amazing way to get the results you are looking for without the unwanted downtime.

Lip Lift

The PDO Thread Lip Lift is a unique procedure that allows us to non-surgically lift the upper lip. As we age the length between the nose and upper lip lengths, along with the lines that occur in everyone eventually. This is an innovative technique that allows us to lift this area back to its former position. While fillers can help with lip volume and lines, they can sometimes weigh the lips down further lengthening this area. Filler alone can't lift the lip. PDO threads lift the lip creating a fuller, more defined lip that turns out instead of turning under.

This procedure is fast with minimal pain, minimal swelling and bruising, and instant results that continue to improve over the next couple months. The results last for 12-18 months.

When filler alone is not getting the results you are looking for this may be the procedure for you! Call for a Free Consult.
